I receive many requests as to how one can acquire replacement plastic spring tops for Gerold Salt & Pepper Shakers.
Unfortunately, the replacement tops are extremely costly to replace. Since the shakers are considered antiques and are no longer produced, the replacement tops can only be obtained from the company in Germany which bought out the Gerold Porzellan Company in 1997.

The tops have to be specially fitted so the shakers must be shipped to the company. I recommend insurance! It could cost as much as $60 USD in shipping fees to and from Germany.

Alternatively, you can try ebay and purchase a similar set for the caps. You'll be taking your chances that they'll fit, but if you can get the same model number you might luck out.
